Chebeague Island | New England Photographer

Even being on vacation this week, I can’t help but post some images from our anniversary trip to Chebeague, an island accessible by boat only. Unlike my husband, I am not an avid kayaker so this trip was difficult for me but well worth the beautiful images I keep from it. I must admit I was absolutely dreading the way back…but while kayaking back, we saw a seal who started following us, and soon were surrounded by 20-30 seals who were checking us out! I wish I had had my camera at that point, but with the sky was threatening a downpour, we played on the safe side and left it in a dry bag. Glad we did, because we kayaked for nearly an hour in pouring rain! Hope you enjoy the images from this trip! We have visited many more islands in the past, namely; Orr’s Island, Bailey Island, Hermit Island, Thatcher Island. I am hoping to put together some more images of the fun places we’ve been, soon. I dream of photographing an island portrait session or wedding!
