I am so excited for this large maternity session share. This session *almost* didn’t happen since mom wasn’t sure about booking maternity portraits, but by some stroke of luck the stars aligned and I had a weekend opening at the last minute. We shot at one of my favorite locations on Cape Ann, and the sun came out to complete the vision we had discussed for the photo session: sun-kissed, natural, bright. One thing that I try to do for sessions is to book a location that isn’t overcrowded. I am more of an introvert by nature and I always found that not having the distraction of crowds allows me to get a deeper connection to my clients. One of my favorites parts of this session was when Dani & Brady pulled out their cellphone and played some of their favorite songs – a tip I believe they learned from their wedding photographer – and it created such organic, lovely moments between the two of them. Mom, who is also a blogger, did a great job styling their outfits and the lovely flower crown was purchased at Table & Tulip.
