Frequently Asked Questions

  • Fall is beautiful, but I highly recommend summer sessions for seniors. Once school starts, schedules fill up quickly with sports, activities, and homework, making it harder to find time for photos. Summer offers longer daylight hours, more flexibility for rescheduling in case of bad weather, and a more relaxed experience overall. I also recommend booking a weekday session when possible to avoid crowds. If you’re set on a fall session, be sure to book early, as availability fills up fast!

  • I offer two options: a 20-minute headshot-only session (available locally, on weekdays only) and a one-hour session for more variety. With the longer session, we can visit two nearby locations and incorporate 1-3 outfit changes, depending on time and logistics. This option is great for capturing a mix of images for both keepsakes and your yearbook. You're also welcome to include family members or pets in a few images at the beginning or end of your session!

  • Absolutely! I’ll send you recommendations and ideas, but if there’s a place that’s sentimental or special to you, I’d love to incorporate it into your session.

  • Yes! There’s no "twin tax" here. Most twins opt to split a session, but I’m happy to work with whatever works best for you.

  • To book, simply reach out via the contact page on my website. I’ll send you a quote along with a questionnaire and contract. Feel free to ask any questions you may have along the way! A 50% deposit is due at booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your session. For more details on pricing, you can find that by clicking here.

  • Once we have a date set, we’ll work together on choosing locations for your session. If you’d like, we can also schedule a call to chat more about your vision for your photos. I’ll help create a moodboard to get a better sense of your aesthetic and the vibe you want for your senior photos. The more details you provide, the better I can tailor the session to match your style. However, if you prefer a more laid-back, "trust the process" experience, that’s totally fine too! I’m happy to select the locations and keep things low-key. Just let me know what feels right for you.

We’ll also be in touch as your session approaches to confirm all the details. If the weather looks inclement, we’ll chat about a backup plan and reschedule if needed.
